The money went, and only the remains were left, and we can still call them bus shelters, even though they no longer offer any shelter. Lying amongst the rubble is the ingenious spirit we naturally possess in Galicia, making the most of the crumbs we have left. We are like the natives of the legend: we trade gold for mirrors that certify we are honest. And thrifty.
